My friend Bonnie asked an interesting question: “Who should play Lance Armstrong in the movie about his life?”
I would pick Robert Downey, Jr. He’s the right age, he has the acting chops to pull of drama, pathos and comedy, and — as we’ve seen from the Iron Man movies — he can get into amazing physical shape for a role. Plus he has the life experience of his own ordeal with substance abuse and a very public downfall.
